To get my posts again closer to 1000, I compile some relevent information about holy paladin build.

Fist what others should know about us:
1. We are tank healers or 2 high damage taker healers, really
2. Our asset is a strong raw healing, not intelligent heals or prevention mostly
3. Assign usually our heal target which we use sacred shield (MT) and then beacon target which is healed the same amount (OT / self / ranged tank etc) (many use beacon and sacred to same target, it is not intented and uneffective)

My motto: "Dont Die, Move out of Damage". Other favourites: "Dont max dps, enrage is not even close", "Plz, if low health, use hs or pot until our big heal lands"..."move out".

Our formed GM Inori's motto "FFS FOCUS"

Builds in pve
--------------
Crit build - takes skill points from ret tree. OK most of the time
Divine Intervention build - takes skill points from ret tree, I use this with bubble in key events of fight, needs skill to do

Rotations
-----------
1) beacon and sacred shield (renew when needed, move sacred if needed)
2) use seal and judgement of light / wisdom
3) use holy light / flash of light / holy shock depending on situation (my data from one night healing is usually: 3 fol, 1 hl, 0,5 hs)
(usual rotation flash of light, holy shock and immediate flash of light to same target, holy light, flash of light...)
4) repeat and keep your beacon and judgement of light / wisdom up
5) divine plea first time after about 10 secs to fight or 80 % mana, then after every 1 min, also divine illumination every time when neccessary
6) all other skills and abilities as they help your tasks

Stats come with your gear. Head to high intelligence. I also try to make balanced build, not all gemming to +20 intelligence but also spell power to make your flash of light working well.

How to play

Be fast, agree with other healers who to heal, stick with this plan, remember to buff without asking, sometimes use your plate to tanking (dont be afraid if adds come to you when healing, soak them and not give them to cloth healers), but still bubble if things go wrong and (main)enemy is on loose – heal like hell during that time, try to proact, not only react, know your enemy!

It is not updated and maybe there are new ones. This is some text from my ealier writings.

Thank you for a comment.

Yes, the 2 are like my crit / ret tree and prot tree holy build.

And 3rd one: Nooooooooooooooo, dont want to do cleaning (cleansing :-) duties...But could be worth a try if needed specially in some fights if no other healer can provide that 30 % magic resistance stuff.

Also here was something about healer assigments...
http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=9942038610&sid=1

Specially looked the addon sector, dont know about it:
"There are several healing-assignment add-ons but personally I’m using Gth (Getting things healed) but there are several other good ones available. "

And I dont know the healing team so well so be patient...

Here I found something about data about stats preferred, which seems to be quite coherent:

http://forums.wow-europe.com/thread.html?topicId=11155750714&sid=1

"Mana Regeneration Stat Summary

If we bring that together you get for 100 itempoints spent on:

Intellect: 1815 initial mana + 24 SP + 36 - 93.5 Mp5 + 72.6 extra mana per SoW proc.
Mp5: 50Mp5
Crit rating at 676 Haste: 11.6 - 27.5 Mp5
Crit rating at 0 Haste: 9.2 - 21.8 Mp5

So it's obvious that Intellect here has the largest potential for mana returns, with Crit being the least interresting.

(healing through put summary):

By that I would conclude that up to the Haste cap you will benefit more by focusing on Haste rather than Spellpower or Crit. Beyond the Haste cap however it will depend on how you're casting. If you're predominantly casting Holy Light then stick to Haste, otherwise Spellpower might be worth considering."

So consider intelligence and haste as interesting stats, then maybe spell power and crit / mp5 as the least.

Here is another guide from Ensidia Holy Paladin which fortunately is coherent with above preferences.

http://www.ensidia.com/home/guides/holy-paladin-guide-part-1-general/

Changes in in holy spec will change things in the future but for now this is enough for holy paladin to know. Funny also, I had that Tuskarr's enchant on legs but changed it back to icewalker as some "gemming recommendation" sites said so...will change it back to be faster in Toc-25 1st heroic for example...
